so i'm about 50% done with the game. i've decided that the 5th area will be the last, and not only because i'm running out of TIC-80's map memory.

the 4th and 5th areas will likely be bundled in one major update, because it's not easy to split them, and the game's 3 areas are a suitable demo already. i will be making regular devlog updates as i progress on this goal.

now, after a long pause, i've got some new actual gameplay to showcase, and i'm getting excited. here's the introductory room to the 5th area.
