Had fun with the prototype - this seems like a great idea for a metroidvania with lots of potential for exploring and backtracking as you gather letters.
Loved it! Some of the text bubbles, like the one on top in the first scene, are not easy to reach by jumping, but overall it's a game I found simply amazing!
That was really cool! The concept is quite fun. It took me a bit of time to understand I had limited amount of letters I could use, but that's part of the game mechanics discovery.
I'm curious, what did you use to make this game? What game engine?
i *think* i've fixed this now. at least, i haven't run into this issue after disabling x-collisions with textboxes when there's been a y-collision on the same frame.
Great game. Wish it was finished! The original build did not have the come back soon part during the void and it was very confusing. I will be following this.
I am confused. I can fall off the edge of the world (the end), and I can get back by going left for long enough (or by going right, at which point the game glitches), but with the letters PEAT, I don't know how to get any further.
oh, i can see why you got confused, you're not supposed to get back from the void. that's where the game ends currently. i've now disabled this behaviour.

i think i beat the game the unintentional way, by using bugs to go through walls and found a statue
beat the game but I did it through the way that said you arent supposed to be here yet because I didnt know how to do it the other way. peace

fun concept! i cant really think of anything i would change besides more content.
also, i found a glitch, epilepsy warning
it can be accessed by jumping on top of "he only knowns the letter a" and allows you to go into rooms your not supposed to be able to access
your image seems to be broken.
anyway, this image should (hopefully) work
from what i can tell it's patched in the newest version anyway, so i guess it doesnt really matter anymore

nice game, sounds are a little repettive though, more sounds would be nice
i'm thinking i could vary the common sound effects in pitch to make them less repetitive.

Controls are a bit odd, why does it make you press Z on the title

This is a great concept! So simple yet you feel like you are learning with Jimi 🤭 I love the progression style.
I’m stocked to learn the whole alphabet with Jimi!
It’s not necessarily a game breaking bug, but I found if you spam jump in certain places, you get teleported around
i've noticed that a couple of times while testing, unsure of what causes it. for now i'll just adjust the textbox positions.
