arrows or WASD to move, hold Shift to move slower. press X to self-destruct, causing chain reactions!

This seems like it might benefit a lot from a button to hold down to move slower. Some of the patterns require very precise movements, and the player moves a lot on even a very brief keyboard tap.
good point, i added Shift to move slower.
great take on the bullet hell genre with a challenging mechanic!
